Collaborations

To date, the majority of funding to support research, product development and clinical trials has been obtained from grants and in-kind contributions from institutions including the National Institutes of Health, the E.U., Karolinska Institute, RIGHT, and the National Office for Research and Technology of Hungary.

1998:    R&D Collaboration for DermaVir Patch formed with RIGHT, a non-profit corporation founded and directed by the Company's founders, Drs. Lisziewicz and Lori
Activities: discovery, laboratory and animal research, regulatory affairs, formulation, pre-clinical studies and clinical trials.
2005:    E.U. grant to fund a Phase I DermaVir Patch clinical trial in Hungary.
2005:    Hungarian government grant to create Vaccine Therapy Cluster (VTC)
2006:    Vaccine Therapy Cluster established as a collaboration with Hungarian academic institutions with clinical operations in Budapest
2006:    Exclusive Worldwide license to DermaVir in Hepatitis C virus (HCV) granted to RIGHT
2007:    Rodman & Renshaw retained as financial adviser
