Genetic Immunity's technologies and products are protected by more than 35 patent applications that are issued or pending worldwide. These applications are distributed among four patent families:

"Genetic Immunity"	- methods and Compositions for Therapeutic and Genetic Immunization;
"Skin Delivery"	- topical delivery of genes into antigen-presenting cells of the skin;
"Plasmid DNA"	- Genetic Immunity's protected first plasmid DNA; and
"PHPC assay"	- a new assay to determine a patient's HIV-specific immune response.
